Businesses around South Queensferry have been booking their free stands at the town’s Jobs Fair.
The event – organised by Queensferry Ambition – is taking place at the Rosebery Hall in the town centre on Thursday, February 23, from noon to 2 p.m.
Sunil Varu from Queensferry Ambition said: “The Fair is a great opportunity for local employers to showcase what they do – and help recruit potential employees. A number of local businesses have already booked stalls, but there’s still an opportunity to squeeze in a few more.
“Businesses due to take part in the 2017 Fair include Burger King, Nippers Nursery, Orocco Pier, Dakota Hotel, the Queens Crossing, Port Edgar Watersports and Craigie’s Farm Deli & Café. We’re also finalising arrangements with a few others, too – and also expect stalls from Skills Development Scotland and Jobcentre Plus.”
Anyone interested in reserving a free employer space at the fair should contact Lynsay Bryce on 0131 339 9461 or email: Lynsay.Bryce@xtra-mile.com
A previous event in 2016 attracted more than 100 jobseekers.
